PEARL JENKINS AND CARS

Actually Grandpa Jenkins' car was the first self-starting (non-crank) car in Newton. There had been a number of cars in Newton before that, Grandpa had owned two himself (the Jeffries was his 3rd)
Also, if you look closely , the picture of him behind the wheel is a photographers studio set. The steering wheel is on the wrong side just for starters.
His car was one of the last Jeffery autos built before the company was absorbed by Nash. Grandpa had the Jeffery dealership for Idaho and No. Utah. Kudos to Mr. Hickman for a beautiful restoration job and Thanks to you for posting the picture.
