It is time for our end-of-summer book sale and boy do we have some great titles!  We hope you'll all come over and see what we've accumulated!
First on our list is last years Newberry Honor book,"One Crazy Summer".(2.00)  It has garnished four separate national awards.  It's funny and real and heart warming.  I would say it's for the 10 and up generation.
Also for the 10 and Up I have Newberry winner "Call It Courage" (2.00) "The Little Prince" (2.00)  This years Newberry Honor Book, "Inside Out and Back Again" by Thanhha Lai (4.00)  (It's a wonderful story about a little Vietnamese family that is adopted by an Alabama town.  Talk about culture shock!)
I have a new book by Joan Bauer called," Close to Famous" for 11 and up (4.00).  She writes about strong young girls and strong women.  She's one of my favorite authors of all time and this is a lovely story!
I got my hands on some more copies of "The Thief Lord" by Cornelia Funke.  11 and up (6.00)  It's my all time favorite book written in Venice Italy.  The cover looks dark but it is not a dark story at all.
For the 7-9 year-olds I have a good supply of The Magic Treehouse books.  It's still rated number one for books for their age group. (1.50)  Also for 7-10 I have the favorites for boys called the Hank Zipzer books by Henry Winkler.  They sell out very quickly but they are lots of fun. (3.00)  Geronimo Stilton still is a favorite for boys and girls in this age group. (3.50)  I also got my hands on "Chocolate Fever" a blast from the past but a funny book. (2.00)  I still have a nice selection of Clementine books for girls in this age group.  She was my mom's favorite little girl!  I have a nice new set of the Rainbow Magic Fairy books for girls in this age group.  They sell out quickly.(2.00)
